GORDON Brown has revealed he's a fan of hit children's TV show Balamory - and has even visited the set with his son John.
The Chancellor and wife Sarah took John, who will be three next week, to the Isle of Mull, where the CBeebies series is filmed.
In a magazine interview Mr Brown said: "We took him to the set on the island. He is a very happy boy now."
He revealed he had become an avid fan of LED Flexible Strip Ribbon Series Ribbon 5050 the show while watching Balamory with John at home in Fife.
Balamory is filmed in the real-life harbour town of Tobermory, using its multi-coloured seafront houses as a backdrop.
It features characters including PC Plum, Miss Hoolie the teacher, Archie the inventor and bus driver Edie McCredie.
However, Mr Brown, 55, admitted his son had "gone off" the show and turned his attention to more advanced shows such as Little Einsteins.
The Chancellor spelled out his love of children's TV programmes in the interview with GQ magazine.
